Evangelism
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 28:19
The Message is the Gospel
We believe that the Gospel is the message that brings people to salvation and is foundational for all our evangelistic efforts. Salvation is by grace through faith alone.
“The Gospel is the Good News that God became man in Jesus Christ. He lived the life we should have lived, and died the death we should have died, in our place. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God, and offering the gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins to anyone who repents and believes the Gospel.” Rice Broocks – An excerpt from his book, ‘God’s Not Dead’
“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” ROMANS 1:16
By all means win some...
We believe that Biblical evangelism is part of the call to make disciples, which is inclusive of evangelism with people we know, starting conversations with strangers either during our everyday lifestyle or as an outreach/mission, and also proclaiming the Gospel to crowds. We believe that both the harvest and the harvester help determine our method that is inclusive of sharing the Gospel with power, engaging with apologetics and intentional acts of kindness in the process of sharing the Gospel. We recognise that tools, technologies and strategies help in communicating the Gospel and mobilising believers. In all things we need to be Spirit-led and Spirit-empowered in sharing the Gospel.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the Gospel according to the power of God.” 2 TIMOTHY 1:7&8
Our annual Outreach Intensive is there to equip people on how to share the Gospel that they have seen powerfully change their own lives. Ingrained in the exhortation found in Ephesians 4, the Outreach Internship aims to empower those with an Evangelism gift to not only reach people themselves, but to then take the fire back, equip those in their local contexts to love people to Jesus, and see the fire continue to spread.
Join Themba Malaba, the regional Evangelism leader, and Roger Pearce, Regional Apostolic Director, as they share testimonies, nuggets, encouragement, insight, and more from the recent Outreach Internship held from 3 to 12 July 2026.
The mission continues with you! We had two days of comprehensive evangelism training online in April. Equippers taught us all how to engage others with the Gospel whether it was our first time or hundredth time, whether we're on the campus or the workplace or anywhere in between.
