CONFERENCE RECAP VIDEOS

SESSION RECORDINGS: JOHANNESBURG

Below are the recordings of all the sessions from the Johannesburg conference, first in video format (also available on YouTube) and secondly as MP3s found on our Spotify account.

Session 1: The Message — Ernie Kruger
Pastor Ernie reminds us that “The message we preach is not a tagline, it is the headline” and “If you don’t have the Gospel, you have nothing to offer the world.” The Gospel is not just one message among many—it is the message that carries the power of salvation, hope, and transformation. Without it, all we have left are empty words and powerless religion.

Scripture:

● 2 Timothy 3:1–5 (ESV) — Paul warns of a time when people will love themselves and pleasure more than God, holding a form of godliness but denying its power.

● Titus 2:11–15 (ESV) — God’s grace brings salvation to all and teaches us to live godly lives as we wait for Christ’s return.

Session 2: The Mandate — Nick Jones
Pastor Nick reminds us that the Gospel is our message, the campus is our strategy, and the nations are our mandate. Jesus gave His disciples four “alls” that shape our mission: All authority (we go in His power), All nations (the scope is global), All that I have commanded (we are called to full obedience), and Always (we are never without His presence). If we’re not “all in” for this mission, we’re living short of what we were called for.
Scripture:

● Matthew 6:33 — Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

● Matthew 28:18–20 — Jesus gives the Great Commission, sending His followers to make disciples of all nations.

Session 3: The Messenger — Anna du Plessis
Anna reminds us that we never just represent ourselves—every word, action, and attitude reflects the One we serve. Being an ambassador for Christ is a position of honour given by God, not earned by us. It’s about living in a way that makes His light and truth visible. Familiarity with holy things can dull our sense of awe, but true representation flows not from trying harder, but from deeper surrender to Jesus.

Scripture:

● 2 Corinthians 5:20 — “We are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us.”

● John 17:16–18 — Jesus prays for His followers, sending them into the world as the Father sent Him.

● Matthew 5:16 — Let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Session 4: The Motive — Luxolo Kentane
Lux Kentane reminded us that while the harvest is plentiful, the labourers are few—not because there aren’t enough Christians, but because too many are spectators rather than workers. God invites us to be partakers in His plan, not passive attendees. When Jesus looked at the crowds, He was moved with compassion—do we share His heart? The call is urgent: the harvest will not wait. And when we pray for God to send workers, we must also be ready to say, “Here am I, send me.”

Scripture:

● Matthew 9:35–38 — Jesus sees the crowds, has compassion on them, and tells His disciples to pray for labourers for the harvest.

Session 5: The Movement — Neo Mahome
Pastor Neo challenged us to live surrendered and ready to be used by God now—not someday. “Tomorrow” is a dangerous word when it comes to obedience. Delaying our “yes” to God leaves consequences, robs us of opportunities, and can harden our hearts. Worship is more than a song—it’s the way we live every day in the present moment. We can’t follow Jesus everywhere except the cross; real discipleship is costly, but worth it. The only way to truly do the thing God is calling us to is… to do it.

Scripture:

● Exodus 8:1–11 — Pharaoh delays obedience to God’s command, choosing “tomorrow” instead of immediate surrender.

COMING SOON: CAPE TOWN SESSION RECORDINGS

Session 1: The Message — Ernie Kruger
Pastor Ernie reminded us that “The message we preach is not a tagline, it is the headline” and “If you don’t have the Gospel, you have nothing to offer the world.” The Gospel is not just one message among many—it is the message that carries the power of salvation, hope, and transformation. Without it, all we have left are empty words and powerless religion.

Session 2: The Mandate — Pierre Smith
Pastor Pierre reminded us that sometimes we are either too unfamiliar with God’s Word (treating it as distant or irrelevant), or too familiar (reading it without awe or obedience). Both hinder us from our true mandate. Like the disciples, we often wrestle with doubt, with submitting to Jesus’ authority, or with actually doing the deeds of disciple-making. Yet Jesus meets us in our doubts, reaffirms His ultimate authority, and calls us back into action. From Thomas who doubted, to Paul who misused authority, to Peter who stopped doing the deeds—each was restored and sent. Our mandate is not passive religion but active obedience: proclaiming, baptising, and teaching with the love of Jesus at the centre.

Session 3: The Messenger — Daleen Tait
Pastor Daleen reminded us that being an ambassador for Christ isn’t optional—it’s who we already are once we’ve been reconciled to Jesus. Too often, we abdicate this role, waiting for someone “more qualified” to share the Gospel. But God has placed His Spirit and His authority in us to step into our position. Like the Samaritan woman who went back to her town, or ordinary students who simply obeyed and saw disciples multiply, we are called to carry the message right where we are. It’s not about our name, status, or eloquence—it’s about being faithful to deliver the message of Jesus. A messenger doesn’t create the message; they simply carry it.

Session 4: The Motive — Roger Pearce
Pastor Roger reminded us that harvest time is urgent—you cannot delay without losing it. In farming, the white fields meant a short window to bring in the crop before rot, pests, or decay set in. Jesus uses that same imagery: now is the time. Excuses—whether doubt, fear, or busyness—only rob us of obedience and allow the harvest to be lost. Revivalists like Nicholas Bhengu and Reinhard Bonnke echoed the same truth: When God calls, you don’t wait for the perfect moment—you move. Compassion without action is just emotion. God calls us to step into His mission now, not tomorrow. Delay means decay, but obedience means life.

Session 5: The Moment — Neo Mahome
Pastor Neo challenged us to live surrendered and ready to be used by God now—not someday. “Tomorrow” is a dangerous word when it comes to obedience. Delaying our “yes” to God leaves consequences, robs us of opportunities, and can harden our hearts. Worship is more than a song—it’s the way we live every day in the present moment. We can’t follow Jesus everywhere except the cross; real discipleship is costly, but worth it. The only way to truly do the thing God is calling us to is… to do it.
